Fall Creek Falls hosts their annual Spring Star Party May 10 and 11th. Cumberland Astronomical Society, Vanderbilt University's Dyer Observatory, Astronomy in the Parks Society and Fall Creek Falls State Park will begin Friday evening with dark sky field viewing of the beautiful night sky and continue into Saturday with an astronomy presentation and discussions with more opportunities to view the night sky. Saturday evening's event will also include planetarium shows and a special concert. No registration fee or charge to attend. The Inn at the park will make special room packages for those two nights, double occupancy, two night stay and breakfast $148 plus tax and gratuity. 1-800-250-8610
