CENTRAL VIEW VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT is having their Annual BBQ on Saturday May 11. I don't know what the times are on this but I'm assuming it's a lunch thing that would generally last from 11am-2pm. In previous years they have had to-go plates but...again... I am only assuming as I've not found anything online or in the newspaper about the festivities.

Fall Creek Falls hosts their annual Spring Star Party May 10 and 11th. Cumberland Astronomical Society, Vanderbilt University's Dyer Observatory, Astronomy in the Parks Society and Fall Creek Falls State Park will begin Friday evening with dark sky field viewing of the beautiful night sky and continue into Saturday with an astronomy presentation and discussions with more opportunities to view the night sky. Saturday evening's event will also include planetarium shows and a special concert. No registration fee or charge to attend.
